At Remal, formerly known as Remal IoT, we are passionate about building a connected future. Founded by Emirati electrical engineer Khalid Mansoor AlAwadhi, Remal was established to bridge a gap in the UAE’s IoT and embedded systems market. Our mission is to nurture a home-grown tech ecosystem by offering locally designed, high-quality IoT solutions and hands-on educational resources.

Who We Are

Remal began as a passion project during the global challenges of 2020, a period that underscored the importance of innovation and self-sufficiency. Amidst the COVID-19 lockdowns, our founder, Khalid, a University of Colorado Boulder graduate with a deep expertise in embedded systems, saw a unique opportunity to develop smart technology solutions tailored for the Middle East. With this vision, Remal was born—an Emirati-founded company committed to pioneering IoT innovation, PCB design, and embedded systems development, all while supporting local talent.
